What’s yours?

 

My fav is a meatball sub. I make the meatballs and sauce from scratch. Then put them on thick cut Italian bread, with some mozzarella and Parmesan, and toast it in the oven, so it’s melty cheesy heaven.

I also love chicken salad sandwiches. Especially when it’s fancy with interesting fixings, like apple.

But I can’t stand refrigerated bread. Gross.

Jersey Mike's makes a mean Italian. I tell them to hold the lettuce, douse it with "Mike's Juice" and sprinkle with oregano.

 

wow so many but i think Philly Cheese Steak is way up on the list

 

my initial instinct for that answer is a dirty one.

but serious answer, i dunno. there are too many. I love a good French Dip. Also, Reubens, and club sandwiches (BUT ones that also include roast beef)

 

I have many favorites, but way up around the top of the list is a hot Italian Sausage sub with generous sauce and cheese - you can throw in a couple of slivers of green or red pepper, but don't get all crazy with vegetable matter.

BLT!

Triple deck, toasted hearty white bread, sliced homegrown ripe tomato, crispy iceberg lettuce, crunchy hickory smoked bacon and Hellmann’s mayonnaise.

Real Philly cheesesteak a close second, but only if it’s from E Passyunk Ave!

 

Italian Beef sandwiches like they make up around Chicago are incredibly tasty, as is Beef on Weck which is popular in the Buffalo, NY area. Chicago hot dogs are good too!

 

But after thinking about it, my favorite sandwiches are Maine lobster and crabmeat rolls!

 

A good old turkey and cheese with chips

 

How could I have forgotten Shrimp or Oyster Poor Boys (Po' Boys) like they make in the French Quarter in New Orleans

 

Another great sandwich came to mind! At a little Seafood Market restaurant in the Florida Keys we had BLTs. Bacon, Lobster and Tomato sandwiches made with thick slices of grilled Florida lobster tail. To add to it they even offered free beer from an iced down keg sitting in the corner! It was Spring Break and a sweet, sexy young college girl in a bikini joined us at our table. She chatted with us and drank a couple of beers with us!

 

BLT is a favourite.

 

The bread makes the sandwich. Bread you buy at the grocery store is usually just slabs of starch meant to transport the other items to your mouth.

 

Meatloaf... road food... Mrs. makes cheese... contrarian... from New Jersey.

 

I don't think I have a favorite sandwich.
I have a buddy who loves peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches though.

 

I like Philly Cheesesteaks. The 'fake' ones are okay but a real one, from the local places in Philadelphia, rocks!
Also, Fuddruckers for burgers.

 

One of my favorite sandwiches is Chicken and Bacon ranch toasted at Subway. I add spinach, green peppers, pickles, cucumbers, onions, black pepper, parmesan and ranch dressing.

Enjoy meatball marinara but only with onions and parmesan and toasted. I also like less marinara sauce.

 

Bread and Jelly on plain cheap white bread.
